2000 - 2003 : Post-Doctoral Research Fellow funded by the UK EPSRC in the Vortex Dynamics Research Group of the University of St Andrews.

2003 - 2018 : Lecturer in Applied Mathematics, University of St Andrews.

2018 - 2024 : Senior lecturer in Applied Mathematics, University of St Andrews.

2024 - : Reader in Applied Mathematics, University of St Andrews.
